Lume App Reviews

Why??

Im getting so sick of apps that dont provide a way to turn off the sound within the app. I dont want to adjust the sound on the device and risk forgetting to turn it back up, because I need it for reminders, alarms etc. so an otherwise beautiful game becomes unplayable for me.

This was the original game before lumino city. The devs have updated the graphics to make sure it matches their newer full game lumino city. This isnt a sequel for Lumino City, it was the first game before they developed lumino city, which is much longer. Keep that in mind before purchasing. Stop complaining afterwards if you didnt read the description, update notes and release history to see when it was released. So, if you want a longer game, buy lumino city. If you already have lumino city, wait for them to create a new game or release new content for that app.

Entertaining but confusing

Honestly, I loved this game. Simple and cute game to play. BUT!! Ive got this app for free.. So the downsides of the games does not really matter to me since I didnt paid a single cent for it. The game gets confusing because at some point of the game I was just tapping random objects because the graphics is death flat, so I dont know what exactly I am suppose to tab. it is a really short game and it seems like a teaser for the continuation for LUME OUT IN THE CITY.

Lume

Simply incredible stuff! Its been a long time since Ive seen such a beautiful game, what a marvel to behold. The music is delightful,The puzzle are challenging, But not impossible. Each time you solve one, it feels like a satisfying accomplishment. The graphics alone, drawl you to the game and make you want to play! So calming and yet inspirational! This is gaming done right! A lot of love, care and attention to detail went into this experience. Worth every penny.

Dont waste your time

Half the time it doesnt click where you want it to

Well, at least it was free

Kinda cute, kinda annoying in roughly equal amounts. Very very short game, completed it in around an hour. Sometimes clicks were not registered correctly leading to really as annoying repeat clicks on stuff you already knew about. For free its ok, would have be well miffed if Id paid for it, though. Played and deleted.

OK

I loved the graphics, its definitely very cute. I loved the idea of it too. I didnt think all of it was very intuitive though, and some was just confusing. I think it would be easier to play on iPad than on iPhone as I did, as some things were hard to click on. It was also extremely short; I got it for free, I definitely wouldnt recommend paying money for it (I think it took me about an hour).

Good, but very short

I love these kinds of games, and this one is as charming as any. Fun and pretty, but took me all of 20 minutes to finish the first time through. Got it free, so no complaints, but it should probably stay that way, and focus on upselling the main game.

Seemed cool until it stopped working

Seemed like a nice game. Especially for the limited time thats free. Having played Lumino City, I would not bother paying much for their games. A buck or two. I spent an hr or so on this one. When I came back, it had saved none of my progress. Really? Well, otherwise it seems like a nice puzzle game. A lot of work went into it and its worth at least checking out while its free.

Appreciation for the Work

The people giving this app fewer stars due to the price are obviously not aware of the amount of effort that was put into developing such a revolutionary game. Paying the price of a McDonalds happy meal to experience such a satisfying, though short, gameplay is definitely worth it if you want to support these artists. It makes me upset that people think the length it takes you to beat a game should be directly related to the price! Ridiculous. If you truly value the work of artists, it shouldnt be a problem to pay the amount of spare change you can find underneath your couch cushions.

Meh

I know it was an idea that grew into lumino city, but the puzzles just arent that special or even that fun...3 stars for masterful artistry/concept, to what grew into the masterpiece: lumino city

Will really make you think

I enjoyed it...but it could of been a little longer though

Love it

Love the game was short am just starting the next story to this game

Cute

The paper cut stop motion is well crafted but does not lend itself well to a point-and-click. There are times when you cant see at all where you are supposed to click (like the upstairs door-- you know it is "somewhere" because you can see it from outside but you cant see it from inside. You have to randomly click around in search of it until you stumble upon it). The puzzles are good and a couple of them are deuces hard.

Great graphics too hard on iPhone

Usually, I am very good at puzzlers but this time I was annoyed. Had to use a guide to get through because the taps are unresponsive. First puzzle for instance, I saw the solar panel out of place but had to click it at least 5 times to trigger the event.

Good game but one thing

I enjoyed all of the puzzles except one musical puzzle that requires me to hear the melody. I am deaf and cannot hear so I had to use a walkthrough to finish the puzzle. Also, the graph puzzle is not clear enough for me to understand since I cannot see the compass whole way and the directions is little difficult to follow. Overall, this game is good!

Disappointing

Way too short...it should be free !!

Very Bad Performance

Very Bad performance on iPhone 4. Unplayable!

Beautiful and Wonderful!!

This game is awesome! The graphics and music create such a wonderful, magical atmosphere, and the puzzles and storyline are absolutely brilliant!!

Fun but short

I really liked the game. However it was very short. Also in game volume control would be nice. Not worth $2.
